January 14th - Diary Day

It is on January 14th. Couples will present each other with the diary which records the love affairs in the whole year to stand for they will spend the coming year with hands in hands and have more wonderful memories. For single girls, it is the beginning of the new year, they will express the affection to the one they love and make plans in the diary. The seed of love is sowed in their inner hearts.

February 14th - St.Valentine’s Day

It is on February 14th  and one of the western traditional festival. Couples will send chocolate, cards and flowers on the day to express their affections and friendship. It has become the favorite festival for the young in European and American countries. There are different explanations for the origination of Valentine’s Day. Like Chinese have great enthusiasm for Christmas, the St. Valentine’s day is also celebrated by numerous Chinese young and become another important festival for Chinese.

March 14th - White Day

White Day is on March 14th. People must be familiar with popular explanation for the white day. If boys receive any gifts from girls on February 14th, they will make some responses on the White Day. It is popular in Japan, Korea, Taiwan etc., and a succession of St. Valentine’s day. It is the first “non-mainstream” Valentine’s day and the forerunner of other “non-mainstream” Valentine’s days. In fact, the generation of White Day is a “business conspiracy”.

The first white day was launched by a dessert (Wagashi) manufacture “Ishimura Manseido” in the Hakata region, Fukuoka, Japan in 1977 to advocate the one who receives gifts should return another gift with the promotion of candies as the methods. It is named as “Candy Day”（キャンデーを赠る日）. Since 1980, since the granulated sugar of candies are white, it is named as “White Day”.

Soon, the chocolate manufacturer found that they can make some profits in the holiday and began to make promotion of white chocolate. At present, besides candies and white chocolate, many other gifts can be sent.

Currently, there is no clear explanation of whether boys or girls should send gifts first on St. Valentine’s Day and White Day. The importance is that the lovers have an opportunity to express their affections and merchants can make some profits.

April 14th - Black Day

It seems like a practical joke that April 14th is taken as Black Day. It can be referred from the name that it is similar with “Bachelors’ Day”. It is said the Black Day is originated from Korea.

The valentine’s day is the complaints from people don’t have lovers. Not every couple of lovers can last long. There is no rules that single people can not have a valentine’s day. “Black Day” is the valentine’s day for single people. They did not receive sweet gifts and chocolate in the last two months, but they can get together on April 14th to encourage each other and have some celebration to reduce the lonely feeling.

Bachelors are always happy in the day and they will live in the completely black world: wearing black suits, hats and shoes, eating noodles made of black soy bean, drinking coffee without coffee mate and enjoyed the bitter of black coffee. Let love go to the hell!

May 14th - Yellow and Rose Day

It is on May 14th. If you still single in May, you can wear in yellow and eat yellow curry rice to make the implication that “I am still available” In the spring, wearing yellow is suitable for the festival atmosphere. In May, roses sprout and it is suitable for travel. Therefore, many couples have an outgoing on the day. It is also named “Rose Day”.

You can also send flowers on the Rose Day. Red rose represents love, white rose means in hesitation; while yellow rose stands for goodbye.

June 14th - Kiss Day

It is Kiss Day on June, 14th. Kissing Day is an important festival for lovers. Lovers should not be shy and express their love with the extent of kiss. It is certain that a romantic environment and candlelight dinner is good for a kiss. On the day, different “kissing competitions” will be held in the world.

July 14th - Silver Day

Silver Day is on July 14th. It is a good opportunity for you to bring your lover back home and introduce him or her to your parents or other relatives. Of course, all expenses on the day will be undertaken by the “adorable relatives”. However, you’d better make it sure that your relatives are familiar with the custom on the day. It is also a day for lovers to present silver gifts and decorations. In accordance with the traditional custom, silver rings can be used for engagement. Therefore, you can buy a couple of rings as the witness of sweet love.

August 14th - Green Day

Green Day is on August 14th. It does not mean environmental protection, but still has some connection with the green forest. In the afternoon of hot summer, you can have a cool and green travel in the forest with your lover. Then you can enjoy the natural environment and have a healthy and happy day.

September 14th - Music Day & Photo Day

The day is on September, 14th. On the Music Day, great social activities will be held and singing and dancing is encouraged. It is also a good opportunity for you to introduce your lover to friends and colleagues. For singles, it is a great opportunity to know whether they is anyone you like in the activities. Besides that, many couples will have pictures under blue sky, therefore, it is also called Photo Day.

October 14th - Wine Day

It is on October 14th. Lovers will drink wine together to celebrate the poetic autumn. Generally, couples will have dinner in romantic and delicate restaurants, talk about future plans and common targets.

November 14th - Orange Day & Movie Day

On November 14th, couples can water two movies together. The first can be a thrilling and exciting action movie to outlet pressure and then a touching and romantic movie, you can wipe away tears for each other. After that, you can have a bottle of healthy orange juice! Single people should also have a bottle of orange juice and two is better. It may be a day launched by juice merchants.

December 14th - Hug Day

On December 14th, you can hug with your lover in the public as long as you want. It is a deceleration of your love to the public and make the cold winter warm. Especially for the ones who have a romantic day on February 14th, their hugs at the end of the years are a witness for their sweet love.
